Carolina First
Carolina First partners with State Housing programs, Public Housing Authorities,
local government, and other nonprofits to provide affordable housing and homeownership
opportunities for low- and moderate-income families. We are also very active members
of the Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) of Atlanta’s community investment programs.
Through the FHP and other affordable
mortgage programs, the bank has provided 77 families with affordable mortgage
financing totaling over $8.4 million.
Mercantile Bank
Mercantile Bank partners with the Florida State Housing program, Florida Association
of Community Development Corporations, Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB), local government
and community-based organizations, and other nonprofits to
provide affordable housing and homeownership opportunities for low- and moderate-income
borrowers wanting to purchase a home. Under our
affordable mortgage programs, the bank has provided 44 families with affordable
mortgage financing totaling over $4.8 million. In addition, the FHLB approved a
$500,000 AHP grant to support affordable housing in Putnam County.
